Why can't chinese take-away places get orders right?

I called them today and ordered just a vegtable fried rice with no onions, i don't like onions and i get pork fried rice instead.I didn't realize it was pork fried rice until i saw the receipt! I don't eat pork at all! I'am so pissed! On top of all that i waited for my order at least a hour. Damn i just wasted $11! I even gave the delivery person a tip! F***! Well this will be the last time i'am ordering chinese food! The last time i ordered a veg. fried rice with no onions! Well guess what? It had onions on them! ARRrgghh! ? They messed up my order twice already! Has anybody else experienced this? Thanks! No rude or stupid answers please!Why can't chinese take-away places get orders right?
Maybe you just need to find a new Chinese restaurant to order from. I've never had a problem with the ones in my city.

Well probably because they are half English half Chinese so they probably hardly understand.

I've never ever had a Chinese food place get my order wrong. Or be late with the food.



Try Mongolian barbeque. It makes it easy for picky people to choose what they want in their food.Why can't chinese take-away places get orders right?
communication barrier......unless the person taking your order, receiving your order, than processing your order all spoke english......highly unlikely.....then odds are...your order was doomed from the beginning. i have a severe allergy to peanuts. a friend of mine forced me to go to an indian restaurant for her bday celebration against my better judgement. I went so far as to go into the actually kitchen and tell the chef I WOULD DIE if peanuts or peanut containing products came near my food. Guess what.....ended up in the ER. Moral of the story......If they don't speak English.....they odds of them getting it right are slim to none.

Always ask them to repeat the order that you just gave them! They try very hard to understand english but, still have hard times. Please calm down and just ask them to repeat your order. It took my place 4 times to get it right, we never never have mistakes now.
Try a different place. I am very happy with the two Chinese restaurants that we get take out from. No problems ever and one of the restaurants we have been going to for over 10 years.
