okay so i am so mad i could kill. i am in a hotel by myself and im here in a city i dont know well without a car. so my only option for lunch was to ride a bus or get delivery and i'm not comftorble with the bus system here. Okay so I went online and found a good looking chinese restaurant and ordered. my order was like 7 dollars and then the 4 dollar delivery charge.



well then it got here and i went down to the hotel lobby to pick it up. the delivery guy said "that'll be thirty dollars." i said no, my order was only 7 dollars plus delivery ch. he said my order was only 7 dollars but there is a 15 dollar minimum! he showed it to me on the menu and i said well that is NOT on the online version of the menu.



and so we fought and yelled and he said that if I didnt pay the 15 dollars he would call the police and the people in the hotel lobby said they would call security to remove me from the hotel. then he got out his phone and started dialing the police and i slapped the phone down out of his hand. i ended up getting out the money and i literally threw it in his face and said heres your god damn 15 dollars. then i dumped out the food onto the floor in front of him in the lobby and stormed back to my room livid.



anyway i am PISSED, is there a way i can sue the restaurant or the hotel even? they made an idiot out of me in public and i am willing to take this to the courts. i was ROBBED of my money.I AM MADDER Then i have EVER been!!!!!!!!!!! can i sue the restaurant... so mad i am CRYING?
Well, first of all, that guy couldn't even call the police because you didn't even know the fee. He could get arrested for calling for false reason. And why would the hotel call security on YOU?! That's retarded beyond doubt. Maybe you should complain to both companies and ask for a refund on both your stay and your money spent but nothing more than that. You shouldn't sue because it was only $15.00 in all and it would be stupid to let a case that small go to court. All you should do is complain. Remember: No threatening the company because you can be arrested for that. I really hope you get your money back and I hope for the rest of your stay to be great. I really hope I helped! I'm now as pissed at you are at the company...can I have the name of the company so I don't get into the same problem?

Wow that would piss me off too... i think you could call the manager and at least demand you get a refund on that but unfortunately you cant sue them
You need to go back to that site and read every word very carefully to make sure you didn't just overlook it. Because a place like that can't charge you extra for somethin' that isn't posted. So go back on the site, make absolute sure that it isn't anywhere on there. It can be in huge font or extra small font, it doesn't matter - all that matters is that it's there. It's up to you to see it.



If the floor that you dumped that food on is carpet, you can be sued for staining damages if the food damaged the carpeting. most restaurants charge a delivery fee when they deliver to a hotel. yes that should have been on their menu, but as a traveler you should have known that already. the restaurant did not make an idiot out of you in the lobby. sadly, you pretty much did that to yourself acting as you did. you actually are lucky the hotel did not have you removed. you have nothing to sue over, nor anything you can litigate in the courts. you were not robbed, you were charged accordingly and actually refused to pay. not a good thing.
The police would have laughed at him, you should have let them show up.. They would have yelled at him for wasting their time.. No I don't think there is anything you could do unless it was a large chain restaurant. If it is you could complain online and probably get free meal or something. But thosChinesesrestaurantsts will drain you for all you got and are the biggest jews in the world so im gonna guess you wont get **** for them... **** for a small order of anything its like $8
