Will a new style Audi bumper fit on an older model?

i have a 2003 52plate Audi A3 and was wondering if the newer style front bumpers (the one where the grill goes all the way top to bottom) would fit directly onto my car

(obviously after i remove the old one, before anyone gets smart :-) )

no. The 53 (2003) to 08 (2008) does fit with each other. The 2003-2006 was a single grill. Just like the 52/2003 versions were. And you could fit a 2008 bumper on a 53/2003 plate car. However, the new 2009 model you can't. Like someone else posted by a new or used new shape car is the only option you have. Unless you can get a modified version...chances are unlikely though.
