Can delivery people make change?

Im ordering chinese food and it cost about $10, but i only have a 20. Can the person who delivers the food to my house make change? Can delivery people make change?
As a former delivery driver, I will tell you that a) this is not a ridiculous question, and b) yes, if you tell the place you are ordering from that the driver needs to bring change for a twenty then that is what he needs to do. A lot of drivers will purposely not bring change just so they can use the same excuse the driver used on you. They know you have to pay for your food if you want to keep it so you will most likely give them what is left over as a tip as a matter of convenience. Your only other recourse is to refuse the food and send them away if they don't bring change. This may be effective if you tell them on the phone that you will refuse the food if change is not brought. If they care about your business, they will oblige. Of course they might also spit in your food.
When you order, ask that the delivery person has change for a $20 on him, when he comes.

Figure out what you want to tip. Then ask for the change less that tip. Say you decide to tip him $3: When you hand him the $20, ask him for $7 change, even stating his tip is $3.

I think they can take advantage of people at times, when they understand they can.Can delivery people make change?
Of course they can make change, I think the other delivery guy was yanking your chain.

Of course you will want to leave a tip though, so remember that, so you can just ask for about 3 dollars back, so you can tip them accordingly
Honestly change for a 20 should always be required for food delivery workers. Now if it was a 50 bill, that I could understand needing to be previously mentioned to the business. Can delivery people make change?
Most of the time a delivery person can make change. I'd suggest that you ask when you place the order..
this is so ridiculous i dont even what to say
