Does anyone know any Japanese resturants in Chicago?
If you can drive up to Arlington Heights, there's a Japanese supermarket called Mitsuwa. They have several fast food type places in the food court with ramen, udon, soba, Japanese style curry, etc. They also sell really good fresh packaged sushi. It's really cheap, compared to dining in a restaurant, and the taste is very good for the price. I recommend the raman, curry udon, and sushi.

Matsu Yama. It is at Belmont/Seminary. They have been open for a little over 3 years. They are one of our favorite restaurants. It is BYOB and it is cheap...especially for the neighborhood.
