Will it be obvious that we are announcing a pregnancy?

We'd either have parent's over for Chinese food...i'll either make it or get take out. OR go to a restaraunt and have the waiter/waitress bring them out after dinner.

CUTEST IDEA I'VE EVER HEARD! Just make sure that EVERYONE gets one. Once a couple people realize they all have the exact same "fortune" they'll put 2 and 2 together. If they still don't get it, you may have to fill them in. Some people can be really clueless, like my parents. lol



I'd do it at the restaurant. I bet the staff would really enjoy being part of it. Who knows, you may get a nice discount on the meal too. lol

I think that's a really cute idea! I especially like the due date part. I would get it but it really all depends on how smart your parents are. You could try to make it a bit more obvious if u think they wouldnt get it.
maybe if it said 'your names' are expecting another special delivery? i dunno. or have it say 'baby due' and then do the lucky numbers.....i would throw something in there about a baby. or you are expecting. or just leave it at that and watch the faces of the people that don't get it at first, get it. :)

yes it would! that has to be the coolest idea ive ever heard... def. do that... i would prob do take out, and replace the cookies they give you with your own fortune cookies... but i think that idea is perfect!

Hee, hee. I once sent out cards saying that we were buying our first house, getting our first mortgage and our address was changing. I faked out some little cards that looked like birth announcements. One of my aunts thought we were pregnant!

Or don't be subtle: It's a beautiful bouncing baby girl/boy!
Or you could do what Rebecca did on Full House to tell Jesse they were having a baby and serve all "baby" foods, like baby carrots, baby corn, baby back ribs, etc, and then the fortune cookies.
