but for tonight , i only have a little bit of milk in the fridege for tea / coffeee . but no food .

Unless they're black, slimy, and smelly, they're fine. Scrub them well, and pick out any 'eyes' that may have sprouted. Cook as normal. (I've never even realized a sack of potatoes has an expiration date, I've just gone by look and feel.)
Potatoes were traditionally stored in a barn for a good part of a year between crops.

As long as they have been kept in a dark place (or you remove any green bits) %26amp; they've not gone mouldy, they will be fine.

Even part mouldy ones can be used for chips if you carefully remove any discoloured bits. Can i eat potatoes that are ten days out of date to cook for baked potato?
Potatoes are wonderful food.

And they don't go unless, after a long time, they

go rotten. Choose 2 large potatoes, prick them

all over, put in a dish and then micro-wave for

10 minutes/put in the oven for an hour. They

are delicious with some butter on them.

Bon appetite !
It is best used on that date but if a sack of potatoes are bad you will not have to ask. I have eaten foods from cans that were out of date but you have to use common sense, some are not good! Can i eat potatoes that are ten days out of date to cook for baked potato?
id advise not to as they could have gone mouldy :( try and make something eles ? stock up on freezer stuff on your next pay and you will last longer ice land nerny everything is 拢1 or 拢2 and bread form morrisons usually 50p a loaf :D
Yes thats fine did it the other day and everything was fine also tasted the same.
ive always been told that potatoes dont have a sell by date really

if they look fine (not mouldy or soft )

they should generally be ok to eat!

Ive done it many a time and I've never been ill xx
They will be fine, just knock any roots off them which have sprouted.
