How come there aren't any female delivery people?

When I'm waiting for chinese food or pizza, or waiting for a package from UPS or Fedex, how come the delivery person is always a dude, why aren't there any women in that line of work??? Every time I order dominoes the delivery person is a dude why don't they let an attractive women do the job, I'm sure she can be capable of doing it. Same things goes for the cable guy??? anybody notice this??How come there aren't any female delivery people?
I used to deliver pizza when I was in college. I'd never do it now because it's too dangerous - there are more robbers and rapists running wild in the streets.



It's funny - even back then, people expected a guy to be delivering their pizza, and I was always amused when a guy would get all embarrassed when I showed up because I had very obviously interrupted sex...why do guys like to order pizza, then get it on? Doesn't always take 30 mintes to get there, fellas, and I know your partner would like for you to take longer than that, anyway.
Women are probably less likely to do the job because it's more dangerous for them. I definitely would not feel comfortable delivering stuff to people's houses - I wanna live!

In regards to UPS and FedEx, you have to be able to carry a certain amount of weight in order to work for them since packages can be very heavy. I'm not implying that females are weak because I'm sure there are girls who can handle it but it's probably rare.How come there aren't any female delivery people?
Women have no sense of direction. They would have to stop and ask all the time. Give them a GPS and they would break it and then whine. They get lost, and they don't assert themselves in traffic. They text when they drive and think "oh my I'm just a ditz tee hee" and think they can get away with it.

Because it's natural instinct to avoid people like you at all costs. And given your attitude, it's safe to assume you are a woman hating bachelor who will always live alone and therefor probably order a lot of delivery food. Who in their right mind would want to encounter you.How come there aren't any female delivery people?
You know the way the world is with the increase violence. I think women don't really feel safe delivering to houses. I know in a neighborhood I use to live in the pizza delivery guy got robbed at gun point. I think it's a safety issue rather than sexism. The sad signs of our times.
Yeah, I have noticed this. Maybe the reason is that there are male jerks out there that like to rape and murder these easy pry women. This happened here a few months back. Don't let your wife, daughter, or girl friend etc. be a delivery person, please.
my sister is a "delivery guy" for a chinese restaurant and she is a good looking girl, and they have two other girls delivering for them. there is your exception to the rule.
I notice it all the time, it isn't safe. That is the truth, some men are sick and twisted and will prey on woman. What a world we live in.
Heh. Your questions always confound me. The last pizza I ordered was delivered by a woman. She saw that we were playing Rock Band and came in and sang a song.. I gave her a great tip.
I think that answer is kind of obvious... I wouldn't expect a lady to go around showcasing herself to a bunch of strangers, just ain't safe.
Cause you weren't in Texas at the time nor were you in Vegas at the time when "I" was Both UPS and Macs Delivery Service!! ;)

Because we tend to finish university and have real jobs.
I've seen females from UPS and Fedex delivering mail. Pizzas? Havent seen that.
