Can anyone please tell me the "average" tip to give to local delivery drivers?

I never had any food deliveries (i,e,-domino's, chinese, etc.) to my house "ever" whilst I've been living in the UK. Can anyone please give me the avg. tip (my amount due is 拢22.49)

yes, 15% is a fair tip for any service and the going rate! If it arrives ontime and still hotr, I'd give 拢25 ans say keep the change, saves saying "call it 拢26 mate"!

$2 for restaurant delivery. For grocery store delivery, .50 cents per bag. that's in US.

we are not so tip ful over in england so anything is something.
calculate 15% of the total. so give about 拢3 or 拢4.
like restaurants and dont worry a bout how much you should give for service.they may not expect anything if you are American your credit card will do nicely
I never tip when receiving home delivery, I do in a restaurant though.

I usualy go by how far they have to drive but pound 50 would be good I'd think. Even 24
nothing, i never tip a takeaway.

if your new to the uk... its not expected of you to give a tip on a pizza delivery.
No need to tip pizza delivery guys in the UK.
If it's just takeaway deliveries then give them 拢25 and tell them to keep the change

I don't tip more than 10% ;; a tip is a gift for service and attention.

but a small pizza delivered is $15.00us in this town (city) sorry I tip just a dollar I believe the cost of gas that I am sure it was inlculed in the price plus his salery.
Tip is not necessary but to be nice $2 but on some deliveries the tip is already added in....the delivery fee. Unless they come back later to refill your glass or bring you napkins or something you do not give them 15% if you do and they already get paid above minium wage the company can cut their pay down to minium wage.

There not too bothered what they get as long as they get something. I usually give between 50p and One Pound depending on what change is. If they get that from every delivery they are doing alright.
why are you tipping? I just say thank you, shut the door and tuck in!!
